Our first Galveston RV Park review is all about Jamaica Beach RV park!
Jamaica Beach RV park is not actually in Jamaica... it is on Galveston Island, located just past the beautiful city of Jamaica Beach.
And guess what: the RV park (it's really an RV Resort) is right across the street from the beach on the Gulf of Mexico where you will have an unobstructed view of the Galveston Bay area. This morning we watched the pelicans diving for fish... just a few yards out into the water... then the fish were jumping completely out of the water... too bad I didn't have a great ole big fishin' pole!
The city of Galveston, TX is just right up the road a piece where the Marti Gras is awesome and the cruise ships are waiting for you to jump on board. And the restuarants are simply amazing - that is, if you like sea food... Well, there are plenty of non-seafood places too.
The amenities are all there... club house with big TV, kitchen (the park owners even cook breakfast a couple of days a week!), work-out room, restrooms and showers... even free movies. And, the POOL is just great with warm water and warm sun. And a playgound for the little ones.
Speaking of little ones, the park also has just completed a brand new miniature golf course called Pirates Treasure and it is awesome, too. Take a look at the video of the mini golf for some outstanding shots of all the "charaters". It is also open to the public.
Also, what we RVers look for: super long and wide pads, level, with all the goodies: cable TV, wifi and full hook ups. And, most of the pads are pull-thru so it is so easy to set up and start enjoying the beach paradise.
Come on in and take a look around, and be sure to lounge around the beautiful pool area and take in the ambiance of a real "Classy" RV park. I almost forgot: the staff are simply the best and most friendly of any park I have ever been to! So, you might say that this is the best Galveston RV Park!
